Cheesecake is a classic American dessert on the basis of the Mascarpone cheese, cream and shortbread. Among all the variety of flavours and recipes, the New York cheesecake is of great interest. It is distinguished by a peculiar cream texture and especial delicacy. Inhabitants of the Manhattan district call it ‘dulcet’ for its unique savour and daintiness. It is usually served with fresh berries or chocolate topping.
